Contact forms and email

When you contact us, we process your name, email address, organisation where supplied, enquiry category and message to answer the enquiry and take steps requested before a possible contract. Messages are delivered through our contact API and email service. We retain them only while required to handle the enquiry and meet applicable record-keeping or legal obligations.

Relevant GDPR legal bases may include Article 6(1)(b) for enquiries connected with a possible contract, Article 6(1)(f) for secure website operation and Article 6(1)(a) for optional services selected by consent.

Website delivery and security

Our hosting and technical service providers may process IP addresses, request data, timestamps and security information to deliver the website, prevent abuse and maintain system security. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.

Device preferences and consent

The site stores necessary preferences such as theme, language and privacy choices on your device. Optional external services are loaded only according to your privacy selection. You can change that selection using Cookie settings in the footer.

Shop and app

Hardware purchases are completed through the separate Shopify storefront. Shopify and the payment providers used there process checkout and payment data under the shop privacy notice. jRaceTracker has a separate app privacy notice because it may process account, device, location and telemetry data.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority.
